DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE!
Who you are today, or who you will become, depends on your roots, environment and I am adding this myself, your attitude.
In my opinion, the author is actually, telling us the obvious. In everyone’s success story, it is NOT like the song, “I did it my way”. We effect others across the globe by our actions. Others effect us in our triumph or failure.
One thing I like and have so long suspected, if you want to be successful or master of your trait, there is no shortcut. You must practice and practice until you are seasoned and great at what you do. I am not sure about the 10,000 hours given as a guideline. But you can always test it out.
In the world of underdogs, is that mostly true? This book, will open up your mind, some underdogs are actually the “upperdogs”, I actually coined that word. Lets see if it goes into one of the dictionaries.
I have always been a firm believer, the strength of our enemy, is actually their weakness, and it apply to us too. With that in mind, I always portray that I am the underdog. It is not about winning battles, but winning wars.
Some good tips to be “upperdog” even if you are the underdog. What strike me most is, the underlying message, do not be predictable. At times it is better we know less.
Yes, I know that 70% the time (approximately) people buy not because of the service or product, but because of YOU. Unique about this book is that it still have some “tricks” under its sleeve, about “Who are YOU?”.
What sticks in my mind, is that, selling or business is made, when you (we) solve other’s problem or issues.
This book goes beyond selling. It shows you the way to be a long distance runner, in your carrier as a salesperson. For those that knows me, I will tell you, each of you is actually a full time salesperson. No matter what you do, or who you are!
Been reading this book, since September 2014. I find it awesome, yet I could not finish reading it yet. Maybe I am not good at figures, or slow understanding figures.
For what I can make out of it, this book is a must, for everyone that wants to make their long term financial plans. Understanding, where are you in the quadrant, and what is best for you. Do not get it wrong, what is best for me, might not be good for you.
My advice, understand this content, before you embark on your financial plans and quest.
Bless Allah S.W.T. that I am still able to read and gave me insight to things that I would have been blinded or kept away from, if I do not read.
I really hope that we all can share what we have understood and learned from our lives, and the lives or understanding of others in their books.
